I have a double electric pump that I use most days but wanted the manual one on days that I'm off work and home with my child. I produce more than my child takes on most days so this Medela Harmony Manual is handy to pump after she finishes eating. I pump during the work day with the Medela Pump in Style, and occasionally need to pump at night to relieve pressure when my baby actually miraculously sleeps or if I just need extra milk for the next day.

This Medela Harmony Manual Breast Pump is perfect for those occasions. It is quiet and surprisingly effective. I hate dragging out all the pump equipment for the electric one and washing all the parts so this is nice when I don't really need to pump all that much. I spend enough time with that thing on working days. It has also come in handle on road trips.

If you are serious about breast-feeding, this Medela pump is a great investment. I purchased one approximately 5 years ago with my first child. I used that one for 16 months, taking it back and forth to work, using it 2-3 times a day. It still works!
